Bridal painting

Just wanted to share a few that have adults in them. This one was a birthday gift for her mother-in-law....I think she earned some brownie points for this one!Portrait of my sister and her family taken at Biloxi Beach --Biloxi, MS prior to hurricane Katrina. I am so glad she was able to get her family together that day at the beach! It may be years before total clean-up and restoration of our coastline.

Painted portraits

This was one of my first commissioned paintings and it is still one of my faves! These two boys have stunning eyes. Can you believe that I photographed them separately? The mother was amazed at the painting with both of them in it.
Just loved this little sweetie too.
This seems to be every ones favorite. She is absolutely beautiful. I made up the background part of the painting.....it just really worked with this sweet child.

These are just a few of my favorite portrait paintings. I love them because they are not posed or staged in any way. Simply capturing the moment just the way it is. It is always fun to capture somthing beautiful from something that others might think ordinary.
